According to the release, Arvay operated Player One Arcade in Denver, which was “part of a network of gambling parlors that extended from Greeley to Pueblo.”

The parlors “offered several electronic forms of gambling,” such as games that were made to look like arcade games and virtual slot machines.

According to the release, after completing a game, customers would exchange credits for Obsidian Digital Asset Coin, a purported cryptocurrency. This currency was only used to exchange for cash at an ATM-like machine either inside or next door to the parlor.
