Denver weather: Mostly sunny skies Sunday, some showers possible later

DENVER (KDVR) — Sunday brings mild temperatures to the metro with possibly a few showers later in the day while snow returns to the mountains.

After a foggy start, temperatures will reach into the mid-70s Sunday with partly to mostly sunny skies.

Watch for a few light showers possible later Sunday that could last into Monday morning. It’ll also be a little breezy, especially in the south metro.

In the mountains, Winter Storm Warnings in southwestern Colorado expire Sunday and snow moves north.

The northern and central mountains will see snow and rain showers by Sunday afternoon and evening, lasting through the overnight hours.

After some light rain and drizzle to start off Monday, look for a mild and dry week ahead.
