DENVER ( KDVR ) — Aurora police officers are searching for a driver who they said intentionally swerved into a motorcyclist’s path before fleeing the scene.
On Monday at 12:20 a.m., the Aurora Police Department said officers were called to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of E. Jewell Avenue and S. Havana Street on the border of the Dayton Triangle and Village East neighborhood.
According to investigators, a Harly Davidson, that was discovered to have been stolen, was traveling westbound on Jewell Avenue when a witness claimed an older model beige sedan intentionally swerved into the motorcycle’s path.

The motorcyclist lost control and ultimately crashed. The rider was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The car and the driver have not been identified or located. Police believe the beige sedan has damage to the passenger side door.
