A Jefferson County school official was found dead in Maryland weeks after he was terminated following a criminal investigation. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland notified the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday that it is conducting an investigation related to the death of David Weiss, according to a statement from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
