Colorado Braces for Winter Storm, Hazardous Travel Expected

Colorado Springs, CO – A winter storm is moving into the region, bringing snow and hazardous travel conditions to the I-25 corridor and Pikes Peak area Thursday evening into Friday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northern El Paso County from 5 p.m. Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday. Snow accumulations will be heaviest in Teller and Northern El Paso counties, making travel dangerous for the Friday morning commute
