2 teens arrested in connection to shooting outside Aurora Skate City

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Aurora police have arrested two teenagers in connection to a Feb. 8 shooting outside Skate City .

Police responded to the shooting at about 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, where two teenagers were injured in the parking lot of the skating rink in the 15100 block of East Girard Avenue. Aurora police on Tuesday said both victims have since been treated and released from the hospital.

In a press release on Tuesday, police announced two arrests in connection to the case, including 18-year-old Jayden Martin and a 16-year-old boy who police did not name due to his age.

Martin is charged in Arapahoe District Court with eight counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault, police said. He is being held on a $1 million bond…
