Elon Musk’s DOGE cuts have reached Colorado

COLORADO, USA — A “Wall of Receipts” created by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) claims to have saved over a million dollars through cancelled contracts and terminated leases in Colorado, but verifying these savings has proven difficult as inconsistencies emerge.

The online repository lists hundreds of federal contracts and real estate deals allegedly cut or terminated. However, the website is challenging to navigate, and several claimed savings have been disputed or removed from the list, according to recent reporting.

One example of confusion involves National Jewish Health in Denver. Politico reported that DOGE cancelled a lung disease research contract with the hospital. When contacted by Politico and 9NEWS, National Jewish stated they had “not been informed of any cuts or cancellations of contracts related to the COPDGene research project.” That contract has since been removed from DOGE’s list of terminated agreements…
