In 2024, Del Taco topped USA Today’ s Reader’s Choice list as the best fast-food restaurant in the United States. But even being the customer’s favorite couldn’t prevent Del Taco from the effects of the economy. According to Parade, the fast-food chain abruptly closed 19 locations in Colorado. The 18 of the 19 are reportedly closed temporarily, and the company expects them to reopen “as soon as possible.”
“Del Taco is proud to have been serving the state of Colorado since 2003 and we appreciate the ongoing support of our loyal guests,” a spokesperson told the media, per Parade . “At this time, our Denver and Colorado Springs franchise locations are temporarily closed. We will reopen these locations as soon as possible and will share updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and support.”
