DENVER — On Friday afternoon, a former employee with the U.S. Geological Survey pleaded guilty to one felony count of wire fraud in federal court.
Prosecutors indicted James Montoya, 55, last year in a case in which he’s accused of creating three bogus companies on paper to funnel transactions with his government credit card.
