Aurora police: Two detained after eluding, trying to take police cruiser

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Two people were detained after trying to elude police in a stolen car Saturday afternoon, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Officers said they saw a stolen vehicle near the Aurora Mall at South Crystal Street and Alameda Avenue.

The officers moved behind the stolen vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The drivers did not pull over and began to elude law enforcement, according to police.
