DENVER ( KDVR ) — A video was circulating widely online over the weekend showing a masked individual walking up to a Tesla CyberTruck and scratching the surface with a key.
On Saturday, police said they were aware and opened an active investigation, but the Lakewood Police Department would not release any details “at this time.” The video was reportedly taken in a parking lot at the Colorado Mills mall.

Police described the actions in the video as “criminal mischief.” The agency asked that anyone with information or who recognizes the person in the video speak to Jeffcom 911 at 303-980-7300, but did not provide any images from the video.
