Sprouts Farmers Market is scheduled to open on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 405 S Chambers Road in Aurora, Colorado. The new store is located at the intersection of Chambers Road and Alameda Parkway. This will be the 34th Sprouts location in the state. The development is part of a broader retail expansion known as the Chambers Place shopping center.
Hiring events took place in March to staff the location, which will employ about 93 full- and part-time workers. Sprouts continues to grow its presence in the Denver metro area, focusing on residential-heavy neighborhoods with limited access to natural food grocers.
From Farmland to Retail: Site Evolution Over Decades
The site has undergone steady transformation over the last 70 years. Historical aerial images show that in 1956, the area consisted of rectangular plots that were likely used for agricultural purposes. No road networks or urban development were present in the immediate surroundings.
