Spring snow showers expected across Colorado

Colorado received some much-needed snow and rain on Friday night, and the weather is expected to continue over the next couple of days.

According to the snow forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS), mountains in Colorado’s western slope are expected to get the most snow, with some peaks set to see as much as 24 inches. Colorado’s central mountains are also expected to see as much as 24 inches.

The NWS’s high-end amount map shows that some peaks, including in the Elk, West Elk, and Park mountain ranges could see up to 36 inches of snow…
