Aurora police arrest 5 in connection to “extensive” burglary ring

The Aurora Police Department, along with partnering agencies, arrested five Columbian nationals Thursday in connection with an “extensive” burglary ring that targeted an estimated 21 residents.

Aurora police — along with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office — served two search warrants and four arrest warrants at two residences in the 1400 block of Fairplay Street and the 1400 block of Altura Boulevard on Thursday, according to a news release from the department.
