Semi-truck spills eggs following crash along I-70 in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) – Hundreds of boxes of eggs spilled out of a semi-truck after it wrecked on I-70 Monday morning.

The crash happened just after midnight on westbound I-70 between Tower Road and Airport Boulevard. The driver reportedly told police they had swerved to avoid crashing into cars that had abruptly stopped ahead of them but ended up going off the road and crashing into an overhead sign instead.
