Hundreds of flights delayed at DIA on Thursday morning

DENVER (KDVR) — Hundreds of flights are delayed at the Denver International Airport on Thursday morning after a ground delay caused by low clouds in the area.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground delay at DIA due to “low ceilings” on Tuesday morning. While the ground delay was lifted, many departures to DIA are still behind. As of 9:30 a.m., FlightAware, a flight tracking website, said there are 214 flights delayed at DIA and one cancelled.
