DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police say one person has died after a shooting northeast of Coors Field overnight Sunday.
The shooting happened in the 2200 block of Blake Street, police said just after midnight on X. Police initially said one person was transported to a hospital, but a later Sunday morning update reported that person has died.

The shooting happened just two blocks away from an earlier Saturday night police clash with protesters at 20th and Blake streets following a day of nationwide “No Kings” protests and marches across Denver streets, but police did not say the shooting was related to any protests.
