After a weekend closure for maintenance, Denver’s transportation department has decided to reduce the speed limit by 20 mph along a popular bridge south of downtown.
Beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday, 8th Avenue, between Mariposa and Tejon streets, will reopen with a reduced speed limit, from 30 to 10 mph, according to a Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure news release issued Sunday.
