2 shelter-in-place orders lifted in Parker after ‘ongoing investigation’

DENVER (KDVR) — Some residents in Parker were told to shelter in place while police were in the area of Cottonwood and Canterberry Crossing neighborhoods on Tuesday morning.

At 7 a.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office issued two shelter-in-place orders in the area of Maple Crest Drive and Clover Meadow Lane and Blackwolf Drive and Canterberry Trail in Parker due to police activity in the area. Just before 9 a.m., the shelter-in-place orders were lifted.

People in the area were asked to go inside immediately and stay inside until further notice. The shelter-in-place order said to lock all doors and not to let anyone inside homes or businesses…
