DENVER (KDVR) — A local coffee shop known for its bakery and glass to-go cups is closing its doors in the Virginia Village neighborhood and opening a new spot outside of the city.
Hearth Denver announced on Wednesday that it’s closing its sister company Tablón Coffee Roasters, a coffee shop that roasts its own beans, on South Holly Street in Denver. However, Hearth will be opening up a new location in downtown Littleton.
Coffee shop uses glass jars to reduce plastic waste
Hearth has the same Tablón coffee and fresh-baked bread, which it will be taking to the new fourth bakery and cafe at 5610 S Curtice St. in Littleton.
There will still be three Hearth coffee shops in Denver, with locations in the Five Points, City Park West and West Highland neighborhoods, but the sister location won’t be joining the expansion. While Tablón is closing down, that doesn’t mean a complete goodbye. The staff is staying on for the new location…
