On Thursday the Nebraska State Patrol and Homeland Security Investigators arrested two people in North Platte related to an attempted homicide investigation.
After receiving a report that the suspect was in North Platte, troopers located the suspect’s F-150 pickup along residential streets in North Platte. The pickup stopped at a house on West 6th Street which allowed troopers to take the suspect into custody without incident.
Both occupants of the vehicle were in possession of suspected methamphetamine. A search revealed a handgun, over .5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, a knife, burglary tools, and several credit cards, IDs, and checks belonging to other people…
