Cherry Hills Village is organizing a winter coat and winter essentials donation drive to support HAAT Force. There are boxes in the lobby of City Hall where you may drop off physical items. If you’re interested in making a monetary donation to help pay for hotel vouchers, visit www.haatforce.org.
In June 2025, leaders from the Homelessness Awareness/Action Task Force South Metro (HAAT Force) were invited to make a presentation to the Cherry Hills Village City Council. Representatives from HAAT Force explained that they provide resources and, on cold nights, hotel vouchers to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in south Denver. Because there are no severe weather shelters in the south metro/Arapahoe County area, HAAT Force partners with other non-profits, individuals, cities, counties, etc. to support vulnerable people.
