DENVER (KDVR) — When working as a director in Hollywood, it is integral to be able to create a distinct, immersive and realistic vision when making a movie. One tiny decision can be a make-or-break that takes it from a massive success to something audiences just can’t click with.
For Denver-raised director Rian Johnson, making sure his next blockbuster, “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” is accurate was of the highest importance.

To make sure things lined up, he consulted a local priest from Risen Christ Parish in Denver, Father Scott Bailey, to learn about an accurate depiction of Catholicism.
The “Knives Out” trilogy is centered around actor Daniel Craig, who plays Benoit Blanc, a detective who solves murder mysteries. Each movie has a rotating cast of stars, with some of the biggest names in the film industry featuring in the first two films, including:
