Littleton man sentenced after knife attack on officer

A Douglas County man will spend more than a decade in prison after attacking a police officer with a knife.

A Douglas County District judge sentenced 31-year-old Corbin Klein to 12 years in prison Tuesday on charges of first-degree assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon, according to a news release from the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Klein was arrested on June 6, 2024, at the King Soopers on Red Cedar Drive after “a disturbing series of incidents,” according to a previous news release by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office…
