SALADO, Texas (FOX 44) – Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to a major two-vehicle crash on FM 2484, just west of FM 1670, in Salado on Saturday afternoon, January 3rd, 2026.
The preliminary investigation indicates a 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck, operated by a 16-year-old male from Salado, Texas, was stopped facing westbound on FM 2484 at approximately 4:32pm while waiting to turn south onto a private drive. A 2020 Cadillac SUV, operated by a 56-year-old female from Harker Heights, Texas, was traveling eastbound on FM 2484.
