DENVER (KDVR) — Pre-evacuation orders have been issued for the area near the Deer Creek Fire, according to a post on X from Colorado Emergency Management.
The orders are for a one-mile radius of the area surrounding the fire, near Shawnee, which includes Royal Ridge Road, County Road 43 and Camp Creek Road.

Colorado Emergency Management said that anyone who wishes to evacuate can meet Park County Emergency Management personnel at the Shawnee Community Center to check in.
