Deputies issue warning to residents after two confirmed mountain lion attacks on pets in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) -The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) is issuing a warning to residents after they said there have been several mountain lion sightings in the county.

According to deputies, there have been two confirmed and one suspected mountain lion attacks on pets within the last month.

Deputies said the two confirmed attacks occurred about six miles apart from each other, near South Deer Creek Road and Pleasant Park Road…
