DENVER (KDVR) — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects who were caught on video allegedly stealing a puppy worth thousands from a Centennial pet store in late January.
On Jan. 24, around 4:40 p.m., the sheriff’s office said surveillance video shows a man and woman walking into Perfect Pets Pet Store on South University Boulevard. The video shows them walking around for about 10 minutes before a woman is seen crouching down, putting a puppy in her jacket, and leaving the store without paying.
The puppy is a Malshipoo, a Maltese, Shih Tuzi and Poodle mix, and is valued at about $2,200, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office described one of the suspects as a Black man with a tall, thin build and wearing a black jacket, army green sweatpants, black Crocs and a gray beanie. The other suspect was described as a white woman wearing a black jacket, purple-and-black pants, black shoes, a white beanie, a white scarf and pink glasses…
