A man was shot while riding a scooter in downtown Denver late Friday in what appears to be a random act of violence.
Around 11:40 p.m. on Friday night, Nico Francis said he was riding a Lime scooter through downtown on the way to meet with some friends when he saw a white Chevrolet SUV parked at a stoplight. An occupant of the car in the front passenger seat had rolled down the window and was yelling at people on the sidewalk, Francis said.
