Tow truck driver fighting for life after 210 Freeway shooting

A tow truck driver is fighting for his life after being shot during a service call on the 210 Freeway in the San Gabriel Valley Friday morning.

The unidentified driver from Jan’s Towing was responding to a gas call from AAA on the eastbound side of the freeway near Grand Avenue, a company representative told KTLA.

It was unclear what led up to the shooting, but California Highway Patrol officials said the driver was struck by gunfire and taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A Jan’s Towing representative later told KTLA’s Erin Myers that the driver was still fighting for his life…
