Another pipe break sends water rushing through Los Angeles street

Crews responded Sunday morning to a broken pipe that sent water rushing through a Beverly Grove neighborhood, prompting officials to shut off water service while repairs were underway.

The flooding was reported near the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and Lyndenhurst Avenue, where video from the scene showed water flowing across the roadway and into storm drains.

LADWP said the flooding was first reported around 4:48 a.m. Crews were dispatched to the area to repair the broken pipe, though the full extent of any damage was not immediately known…
