The trial gets underway Monday for a former nurse accused of killing six people in a fiery crash after allegedly speeding through a Los Angeles County intersection at 130 mph.
Prosecutors say Nicole Linton, who was 37 at the time of the crash, floored the gas pedal for at least five seconds before slamming into multiple vehicles on Aug. 4, 2022, at the intersection of Slauson and La Brea avenues.
Linton, a traveling nurse from Houston, faces six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
