One person was killed and three others were hospitalized after a car drove off a San Fernando Valley freeway Saturday night.
The crash occurred in Pacoima on the 118 Freeway near the San Fernando Road off-ramp around 8:30 p.m., California Highway Patrol said.
Photos from the scene showed the driver of a Toyota Corolla sedan had driven off the road and onto a shoulder embankment before crashing into a tree.
