A driver was killed after an SUV crashed through a guardrail in downtown Los Angeles and plunged onto the street below early Friday morning, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 2:30 a.m. on Grand Avenue near 4th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the vehicle went through a guardrail before landing upside down on the lower level of Grand Avenue.
