The woman who died after being ejected from their vehicle in a crash on the 5 Freeway in Castaic Saturday morning has been identified.
Kelly Lewis, 51, from Lebec, was the woman who died in the crash, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Examiner’s Office.
Around 6:25 a.m. Saturday, first responders received reports of a single-vehicle crash on the southbound 5 Freeway north of Lake Hughes Road in Castaic, according to a statement from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Newhall Area Office.
