Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a bike rider who was struck by a pickup truck in Los Angeles County’s San Gabriel Valley on Monday night.
The crash was reported around 10:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of Richwood Avenue near Bryant Road in El Monte, according to a spokesperson for the El Monte Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, a man who had been riding a bicycle or an e-bike, lying in the street after being struck by the truck.
