Police arrest woman accused of smashing car windshields with bricks in LA County

Police have arrested a woman accused of smashing windshields of parked cars in Los Angeles County using bricks.

Police identified the suspect as Lisa Jones, 30. She was booked at LAPD’s West L.A. station on suspicion of felony vandalism.

Investigators made the arrest around noon Wednesday. They say they didn’t find a brick in her car, but there were other items tying her to the crime. Additional details of the arrest were not immediately available.

Jones’ alleged crimes stretch from Venice to Woodland Hills to downtown L.A.

On Tuesday, some residents in the Burbank area fell victim to the brazen attacks and investigators believe it’s by the same suspect. Police said three vehicles were vandalized off Brighton Street. Madai Bautista said the suspect threw a brick on the windshield of her van.

This follows several other people who came forward saying their cars were also damaged.

Authorities worked diligently to identify the

suspect who was caught on video carrying out the attacks
