A pedestrian was killed after they were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Compton, authorities said Wednesday. California Highway Patrol officers responded to the intersection of Rosecrans and Keene avenues around 9:03 p.m. Tuesday and found the pedestrian in traffic lanes on Rosecrans, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
