A multi-vehicle traffic collision resulted in a big rig crashing into the Chi-Chi’s Pizza in Canyon Country Monday afternoon.
Around 3:20 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Sierra Highway near the 14 Freeway exit, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
There was a multi-vehicle crash, and a big rig involved in the collision hit the Chi-Chi’s Pizza directly across the roadway from the 14 Freeway exit, according to initial reports.
The building was evacuated as a precaution, according to officials.
One person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to officials.
