Family searching for Southern California teen missing for weeks

Loved ones are searching for a Southern California teen who has been missing for nearly a month.

The at-risk girl was identified as Cayla Marchetti, 18, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She also goes by the name, “Rowan.”

On Aug. 26, Marchetti was last seen on the 18000 block of Sandy Drive in Canyon Country at around 7:45 a.m.

The teen’s family said she has a mental disability and requires medication.

She is described as a white female around 5 feet tall and weighs around 170 pounds. She has brown eyes, brown or red shoulder-length hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue pants.

Marchetti’s loved ones have not heard from her since her disappearance and are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts or has information on the case is asked to call the LASD’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
