BRENTWOOD, CA – The Bay Area’s newest Costco is opening its doors in Brentwood with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7 a.m. on Friday. Located at 5151 Heidorn Ranch Road, the massive 155,000-square-foot warehouse is now the largest Costco in Contra Costa County, surpassing locations in Antioch, Richmond, Danville, and Concord.
A major highlight is its 32-pump gas station, among the largest in California. This addition is particularly beneficial for Brentwood commuters, who, according to U.S. Census Bureau data, had the nation’s longest average commute in 2023—46 minutes daily.
The new Costco will also feature a bakery, pharmacy, optical center, food court, and a tire sales and installation center, offering expanded services to the growing community.
