Eight members of the Newhall 13 Gang were arrested during a large-scale raid operation in Santa Clarita Thursday.
The crackdown was the result of a two-year investigation into serious crimes involving criminal street gang activity, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
After identifying and locating the suspects, 13 search warrants were served at locations across the Santa Clarita Valley.
Eight suspects were arrested and 11 people were detained, including two juveniles. Deputies also found four firearms, body armor, gang-related clothing, and other evidence connected to criminal activity…
