Union representing 55,000 LA County employees announces labor strike

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The union representing 55,000 Los Angeles County employees announced on Friday an unfair labor practice strike that is set to begin April 28 at 7 p.m.

If a deal is not reached, thousands of county employees will walk off the job.
