SANTA CLARITA, Calif., May 16 (KNN) – A mountain lion was seen roaming a Santa Clarita neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies received several 911 calls reporting a mountain lion taking a stroll on a pedestrian bridge in the South Valencia community near Cortina Drive and Gravino Road.
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Station sealed off the area and requested that the California Department of Fish and Wildlife respond and relocate the large animal.
