Teen shot by vehicle occupants while walking in South LA

LOS ANGELES – A 15-year-old boy was shot in one leg after refusing to talk with two men in a vehicle as he walked in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday.

The shooting occurred at about 6:45 p.m. Monday at 43rd Street and Vermont Avenue, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
