The Manhattan Beach Police Department has released its weekly crime summary, revealing a series of incidents that occurred between May 22 and Wednesday. During this period, the department responded to 868 calls for service, which included both dispatched calls and officer-initiated contacts. Out of these engagements, there were 21 arrests made and 47 reports taken.
Among the incidents, the MBPD reported a single assault and one robbery within Patrol Area 3. The notable robbery took place on Tuesday at about 1:10 p.m., when a victim approached the police department lobby to report a violent encounter from the previous night. According to the Manhattan Beach Police Department, the victim was assaulted by three male suspects after exchanging words.
