Group continues to press for more speed cameras in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – A state bill has authorized local cities to establish a pilot program to reduce the number of speed related fatalities and one group is urging the city of Los Angeles to implement the program.

Assembly Bill 645 (AB 645) authorizes the Cities of Los Angeles, San Jose, Oakland, Glendale, and Long Beach, and the City and County of San Francisco to establish a Speed Safety System Pilot Program if the system meets specified requirements.
