Two people were killed, including a longtime Los Angeles police sergeant who spent his career helping L.A.’s downtrodden in the mental evaluation, was killed responding to a crash on the 405 Freeway that took the life of a motorist. The deadly collision happened in southbound lanes around 2 a.m. at Moraga Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol. Sgt.
