The Los Angeles Police Department says a South L.A. AutoZone store was looted during a nearby street takeover early Saturday morning, the latest incident in a destructive trend occurring across the city.
An LAPD spokesperson confirmed to KTLA that calls of a street takeover came in around 1:25 a.m. at Century Boulevard and Central Avenue near Ted Watkins Memorial Park in the Green Meadows neighborhood.
