A man was found shot to death near MacArthur Park in Los Angeles early Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department says.
An LAPD spokesperson told KTLA just after 6 a.m. that officers were dispatched to Wilshire Boulevard and Westlake Avenue around 3 a.m. for a shooting call. The location provided by authorities is a block east of the park’s entrance at Wilshire and Alvarado Street.
The arriving officers located a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
